Don’t Miss the In-Depth Customer Sessions at Körber Elevate 2021

Körber’s first-ever virtual customer conference, Elevate Americas, is just around the corner, and we can’t wait for you to see the sessions we’ve lined up. Although we won’t see you live and in person like last year, this year’s event will be just as exciting – as it’s chock full of networking opportunities with supply chain professionals and keynote speeches that will inspire the work you do daily.

Of course, one of the benefits of going virtual is that we can deliver unique sessions that just wouldn’t be possible at our in-person event. I’m particularly excited about the way we’ve been able to tailor our customer sessions to this new format. With our new virtual facility tours, you’ll have an exclusive opportunity to see how your peers are leveraging Körber technology up close and personal.

In addition, we’re offering our traditional customer roundtables – so you’ll have the chance to hear from leading brands how technology from

robotics

to

warehouse management systems

(WMS) to

voice-directed

picking systems helped them conquer their supply chain complexity. With so much rapid change occurring over the last year, you’re sure to walk away with some great insights on navigating the post-pandemic supply chain. And if you miss a session, don’t stress. We’ll make a recording available soon after the session ends.

Take a look at the customers speaking during our March 8-12 event – from the retailers and manufacturers producing and supplying essential goods, to the 3PL specialists that move product around the world (please note that all times listed are CST):

Retailers/Manufacturers: Using technology to meet demand

2020 left no retailer or manufacturer unscathed – everyone had to adjust processes to meet unexpected demand and/or keep employees safe in accordance with social distancing guidelines. Elevate Americas will offer a number of panels showcasing how major brands remained agile throughout the pandemic.

Several sessions will feature goods manufacturers who play a role in making products you use every day. Arizona Beverages (2pm March 9) will discuss how it implemented solutions that gave it deeper insight into inventory accuracy. Toilet paper/paper towel manufacturer Cardinal Tissue (2:30pm March 10) will offer insight into how new innovations in its industry kept products moving to stores during the pandemic.  dmTech (10:30am March 11), a subsidiary of Germany’s dm-drogerie markt drugstore chain, will talk about how autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) are driving innovations in retail distribution. E-commerce will be represented as well, as telemedicine pharmacy provider FORHIMS (10am March 11) will explain how it successfully and rapidly deployed warehouse automation amid the pandemic.

In addition, we’re offering sessions with businesses that form the backbone of services that keep America moving. Parts Town (3pm March 10), a parts distributor to North America’s foodservice industry, will reveal how it innovated throughout 2020 to keep its packaging processes up-to-date. Automotive aftermarket parts provider Advanced Auto Parts (2:30pm March 9) will put the proverbial pedal to the metal as it shows you how it accelerated through the pandemic with an enterprise-scale WMS implementation.

You’ll also hear from manufacturers that, quite literally, put the clothes on your back. SanMar (1:30pm March 10), supplier of apparel and soft goods to the imprinted sportswear and promotional products industries, will share how its warehouse workers became more efficient and accurate after rolling out voice-directed work. Western/work wear retailer Boot Barn (9:30am March 10) will put some kick into its presentation on how it continues optimizing automation in its Kansas distribution center with the adoption of Körber’s WMS.

3PLs: Using technology to keep goods moving

We’re excited to bring a broad range of 3PL providers to this year’s Elevate. Lineage Logistics (2:30pm March 9) will show you how technology is improving processes inside the world’s largest automated cold storage facility. You’ll also have the opportunity to hear how COVID-19 has changed 3PL operations as Biagi Brothers (1pm March 11) discusses how it rolled out a comprehensive warehouse management system at the height of the pandemic.

With robotics becoming a critical component in today’s efficient distribution center, we also wanted to offer customer sessions that could give attendees an inside look at successful robot implementation. EVO Group (3pm March 9) will present five steps to implementing AMRs within your warehouse, while the Gold Bond Group (9am March 11) will discuss the benefits a goods-to-man robotics implementation has had on their warehouse.
