Visicon Compact

Visicon Compact, a new innovative singulator from Körber, generates a continuous flow of singulated parcels ready for down-stream processing. It converts a nonlayered parcel bulk flow into a stream of singulated parcels with a predefined gap. In the process, it monitors and controls the conveying speed of each item. Visicon Compact is a smaller version of Visicon which has been operated successfully in several countries. As the latest development, it boasts a very small footprint, which allows for more flexibility when it comes to integration into existing systems. The artificial intelligence-based vision system detects and records the shape, size and relative position of each parcel on the transition belt. Furthermore, it continually tracks the position of the items during the singulation process. With this real-time data, the control system can flexibly stipulate important singulation parameters such as gapping, orientation and take-away direction. The graphical user interface visualizes the status and provides clearly structured direct access to the operating functions.
