Congratulations to our Elevate Americas 2022 Customer Award winners!

Every year, we celebrate the successes of our customers as part of our annual Elevate conference. Now, it is time to present this year’s winners who have gone above and beyond to meet and exceed today’s demands.

Owing to the unique nature of supply chain complexities, these customers are capitalizing on and finding unique opportunities through the power of our solutions for software, robotics and voice, vision and mobility.

Our customer awards are divided into five different categories:

  • Labor Engagement: focused on major strides in employee engagement, safety and productivity
  • Agility and resilience: empowering visibility, disruption preparedness and scalability
  • End User Experience: initiating change to meet ever-rising consumer demands
  • Digitization & Process Automation: implementing new solutions and technologies to increase productivity while streamlining or adding new workflows.
  • Sustainability: enhancing supply chain operations for a positive impact on the environment

At Körber, we understand the importance of recognizing the achievements of women in our field to help empower the next-generation of warehousing and logistics leaders. Once again, we will also honor Women Leaders in Supply Chain.

Without further ado, we are pleased to announce this year’s winners:

Labor Engagement: Integrated Supply Network (ISN)

By combining AMRs with their existing K.Motion Warehouse Advantage deployment, premier automotive tools and equipment provider ISN increased picking speeds by 266% AND improved working conditions - boosting employee retention rates.

Agility and Resilience: Biagi Brothers

Biagi brothers is a full-service logistics company that deployed a cloud enabled WMS across its distribution center network during the height of the pandemic. Spanning 30 warehouses and 12 transportation hubs, Biagi Brothers benefitted from improved performance, stability, flexibility to scale with seasonal peaks, and its IT resources were refocused to development instead of infrastructure.

End User Experience: Ariat International

Performance footwear and clothing brand Ariat reimagined its distribution network through a greenfield site in Dallas, powered by K.Motion Warehouse Advantage and 88 Geek+ goods-to-person robots. The combination is increasing throughput and capacity - supporting elevated demand from its customers.

Digitization & Process Automation: Nassau Provisions

Food and beverage distribution company Nassau Provisions digitized warehouse operations through K.Motion Warehouse Edge. They took it to the next level through voice-directed work. The combination fuelled rapid growth despite challenges from COVID; boosting warehouse productivity by 420% and significantly reducing labor dependency.

Sustainability: Joint Winners – Lineage Logistics, SanMar

Lineage Logistics

Lineage, the world’s largest provider of refrigerated warehousing, capitalizes on K.Motion Enterprise 3PL – operating 1 Billion SQ ft and 300+ locations globally. The organization has placed sustainability and energy efficiency as its new goal post, with a bold plan to achieve net carbon emissions by 2040.

SanMar

A leading apparel company, SanMar is driving positive change for their people, products and the planet. By leveraging various Körber Supply Chain Software portfolio solutions, SanMar is optimizing its distribution center to improve its environmental impact and benefit its warehouse workforce.

Honoring our Women Leaders in Supply Chain

Women in supply chain have increased by almost 40% since 2020. We’re moving closer and closer each year to women making up half of the supply chain workforce – but still, only 15% of those hold leadership positions (Gartner and AWESOME). At Körber, we understand the importance of recognizing the achievements of women in our field to help empower the next generation of warehousing and logistics leaders. Let us present to you these three extraordinary women that shape the future of the supply chain:

Ann Olson, CIO, Coolibar

Ann is a collaborative and committed Business and Information Technology Executive at Coolibar, which develops UPF fabrics and clothing. She is an IT visionary and our executive sponsor at the apparel company. She was instrumental in our 2021 Warehouse Edge project which is driving transformation across their distribution network.

Roxane Martinez, Warehouse System Manager, Deckers Brands

Roxane leads the Deckers Brands team managing Körber solutions at the highly advanced, highly automated Moreno Valley Distribution Center. Through Roxane’s leadership, Deckers Brands has scaled with business demand, doubling the size of the distribution and implementing our WMS, WCS, ASRS and AMRs.

Kristi Montgomery, VP, Innovation, Research & Development, Kenco Group

Kristi leads the ground-breaking Innovation Lab at Kenco Group – the largest woman owned 3PL in the United States. Kristi is responsible for Kenco’s supply chain transformation initiatives, utilizing emerging and digital technologies. Her work, which includes the deployment of AMRs, has resulted in over $40Million dollars in savings.

Congratulations to our Elevate award winners! We hope this recognition inspires you to continue the exemplary work. We at Körber strive to continue to be the team dedicated to conquering your supply chain complexities.
